Fremont Flats is a commercial apartment project we designed and completed in the center of Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood. These 2 unique buildings offer hotel-style urban living in a range of studio, 1-bedroom, and 2-bedroom suite configurations. These buildings are also rated 4-star Built Green.

Rising from the alley in 5-stories, both of the site’s buildings dissolve at their South corners, expressing contrasting balconies reaching to water and skyline views. The building’s warm wood enclosure was carefully milled from the previous building on-site which was deconstructed following a fire. Green stormwater courtyard gardens line the ground plane levels along with parking for bikes and scooters. Beautiful roof deck gardens top both of these buildings as well to better create more peaceful, unique areas for people to enjoy within this site’s efficient urban footprint.
